Top 5 Most Delicious Snowball Flavors at Scotsman Snowball Stand

When we opened the Scotsman Co. General Store and Woodshop, our eclectic country store, we knew it could grow in many different directions. We added American products from all over the U.S. to our shelves, built an enormous walk-in soda freezer with numerous unique flavors, and even created a Food Truck Park and Observation deck for visitors to spot trains on their lunch break.

Yet the coolest addition is the Scotsman Snowball Stand, a brainchild of Jim Rasberry himself. Jim's the biggest snowball fan we know!

Jim says, "The first time I had a snowball was at Hansen's snowball stand in New Orleans. It's been around 85+ years, and they have perfected the art of snowball making. The difference between a snowball and a snow cone is the consistency of the ice. Most people don't know that they love snowballs, but it's because they've never had one made like this. Until now!"

As you walk into the Scotsman Co. General store, you can't miss the sign that says Scotsman Co. Snowball or Scotsman Snow, as Josh Nowell says. Inside you'll find a long wooden bar top with high seats, shelves lined with candies and snacks, a friendly face, and a creative menu of flavors. It's a controversial subject to name the "best flavor," so you'll have to settle for a list of our top five of the summer.

1. Tiger's Blood

Exotically fruity and playfully named for the bright red color, these snowballs are irresistible on hot summer days. This famous flavor is a favorite for its addicting mixture of coconut, watermelon, and cherry. Also, no tigers were hurt in the making of this snowball.

2. Georgia Peach

Enjoy one of the world's favorite fruits in snowball form. The Georgia Peach flavor has a bright orange tint and a slightly tangy peach flavor. It's made with natural cane sugar and makes it easy to pretend you're biting into a natural peach on a hot day. Nothing better!

3. Key Lime Pie

A Key Lime Pie might as well be an American delicacy. Southerners can't get enough of it. That's why we figured out another form to enjoy it. Pro-tip: Its bright lime green coloring is spotted from anywhere, so eat it before your family asks for a bite. You'll thank us later!

4. Wedding Cake

You might as well be at a wedding reception when you taste this delicious goodness. There's no doubt that this flavor will have you saying, "I DO.... want another one, please!"

5. Bubblegum

WARNING:

1. This flavor is addictive.

2. Do not eat this before you take a picture or have an important meeting.

After one bite, your teeth will be an electric blue for the rest of the day and maybe even the day after. Even with these risks, it's still worth it.
